Cookies

shopnauta.com uses technical cookies, needed for the site to work and stay secure, and statistics cookies only if you accept them. It does not use advertising or profiling cookies.

Cloudflare technical cookies

The site is served through Cloudflare, which protects it from attacks and speeds up page loading. Cloudflare may set technical security cookies, for example __cf_bm, which are used to recognise automated traffic and last 30 minutes at most. On the contact page the Turnstile check may use similar technical data, only to block spam. These tools are necessary for the site to work and stay secure, and the law does not require consent for them.

On your first visit, Google's standard consent message for the European regulations appears (based on the TCF standard). It asks for consent to statistics, but it also lists advertising purposes (personalised ads and content, measurement) and about 200 Google partners, because it is the standard message and includes them in view of possible AdSense ads. Today the site loads no advertising script, so those consents have no effect until we say otherwise on this page. Your choice is saved in technical Google cookies (for example FCCDCF and FCNEC, which last up to 13 months), so the message does not come back on every page. You can change your choice at any time with the "Privacy preferences" button at the bottom of every page.

If you accept, Google Analytics 4 sets the _ga and _ga_<ID> cookies, which are used to tell visits apart and last up to 2 years. Without consent these cookies are not created. How we handle this data is explained in the privacy policy.

Preferences saved in your browser

These are not cookies, but we list them for transparency. In your browser's localStorage we save:

  • sn.units: the measurement system (metric or imperial) you chose in the English calculators;
  • sn.langbar.dismissed: the language for which you closed the bar that suggests another version of the site.

They stay on your device until you delete them and are not sent to anyone.

In your browser's sessionStorage, only while you use the contact form, we save:

  • sn.contact.draft: the draft of the contact form (name, email, subject and message), so it is not lost if sending fails.

The draft stays in that tab only, is not sent to anyone and is deleted when you close the tab or after a successful send.

How to delete them

You can delete cookies and site data from your browser settings. The site keeps working: you will only have to choose your preferences again.

If something changes

If we turn on advertising or affiliate links in the future, we will update this page and the privacy policy before doing so.
